Bama Fans: Sellout the 2005 A-Day Game

I thought the A-Day game was free to the public

if not please someone tell me what its going to cost

thank you

Lets Do It!!!

I want everyone that looks at this thread, that is planning on going to A-Day, say yes or no if you are attending. I am being dead serious when I say this would be huge for the football program. People watching across the southeast, on CSS, will be jealous when Bryant-Denny Stadium is packed with the CRIMSON TRADITION - DO IT FOR THE GOOD OF THE PROGRAM.
UT VOLS FANS WILL NOT STAND FOR THIS TO HAPPEN!!!

Goose I feel your pain.

er I mean joy. Me and my son have made it a father son thing to go and meet the players and get autographs and picnic and go to the game. This year we will not be able to make it. Its the first time in 4 years we wont make the Aday game. It sucks. He has opening day of baseball at 1. We thought about driving down and meeting the players but its just too much.

Just to confirm this...A-DAY is FREE! Also, I can very easily

see 30 to 40 but that's it. I think I remember us having the entire East Stands pretty much full last year, but that was only the lower level. Both decks had some people sitting there, but they weren't full.

Nevertheless, we went to practice this past Saturday, which was a scrimmage and there was a nice (albeit fairly small) crowd in attendence and the day was beautiful!

Also Brodie looked great in 7 on 7's and believe it or not, Guillon looked pretty good. JPW was okay, but not quite crisp yet...he will be a good one IMHO though!

Maybe if they didn't decide to play the A-day game the same time Alabama is likely playing their 2nd game in the NCAA tournament then it could be the largest A-day crowd ever. Believe it or not, some people actually care about our basketball program.

uhh, i think that if 80,000 showed up, they would open up the other side of the stadium. it's not like they would say, sorry you have to go back home, we already have a capacity crowd. that being said, it would be nice to see a considerable crowd on hand. we usually do pretty good at showing. i figure around 30k or so.

Actually, that's just what they would do.

It's not just about the seats -- it's about the restrooms, security, safety, concessions, etc. I have asked specifically before about this same scenario, and was told "we will not open the other side of the stadium."

Call me stupid, but this is my first A~Day game. You said sell out? Do you have to purchase tickets to get into the game ; if so, where do you get them. I thought you just walked in a picked a seat!

Already covered that
