Bama Hats

I went to Banana Republic in Alexandria, VA in 2003 and bought a nice Safari hat that came with an attractive, green band.

Last spring, my daughter went to Tuscaloosa on a college "site visit," where she bought me one of those el-cheapo Saban Safari's (wire rim, poor quality).

So I took the band off of the el-cheapo Safari, made a few minor alterations, and put it on my older Safari.

I look better in that hat than Nick Saban does in his.

Last month, I was walking through Place St. Charles in New Orleans. I was wearing the hat. I had no less than two women and one man see me in the hat and say:

"ROLL TIDE!"

I shop at Hat world. Try the sites on here too, they have some nice ones as well.

I wear my Bama hats until they pretty much fall off of my head. I had one hat that I wore outside while well sampling and it turned brown... My wife hated that hat...

I think the last time I bought a Bama hat for myself, was after the Ole Miss game 3 years ago when the houndstooth caps were unveiled.

Maybe I need a new one...

I've been looking for a certain Bama hat for a long time, and finally found it and received it today. It's crimson with the round university logo on the front. Just something a little different. Very cool.

This thread just won't die. But, while I'm on the subject, I bought me a new bama hat the other day. Classic crimson with the white script A on the front. I thought I lost one of favorite bama, but not 15 minutes after getting back from the mall I found it... So now I have 2 "nice" bama hats
