I like Cole, but anyone who has watched Bama offensively and defensively and thinks things are okay is either blind or biased against the Tide.
It’s why I can’t stand Ryan Brown. He literally said “Bama fans are unfair to Nussmeier. He put up better numbers than Kiffin”. I’m like, “ you do realize that Nuss had a loaded offense with AJ Mccarron for two years and Kiffin had a different quarterback and ace receiver every year?”

Meanwhile Kiffin is still regarded as a very good offensive mind and we haven’t heard much about Nuss unless he is at LSU games in the stands.

Had BoB had Milroe as a quarterback the majority of the season then we probably look more like the offense he tried to run.

If I had the time I'd like to see a breakdown of two things: Bama's success when running a 2 minute drill vs. running a play with under 5 seconds on the play clock *AND* Young's passing success on designed plays vs. throws after a scramble.

My guess is hurry up is much more successful and Bryce was much more productive when the play broke down. Those are not signs of a great offensive coordinator to me. Not saying BoB was trash or anything, but he was closer to Nussmeier than Sark.

My gut feel from watching the games is we were better in hurry up versus burning the clock down. Bryce could pull a rabbit out of the hat when a play broke down, but that happend a lot and he had to scramble a lot. But I also think the play calling and pace of play reflected an inability of the defense to get off the field and hold a lead.

Top Five Things to Forget About BOB @ Bama:
1. We didn't win a NC with the most talented QB Bama has ever had on campus.
2. Snaps under 5 seconds on the play clock.
3. Hearing teams say we tipped off plays essentially giving the defense the advantage
4. Unimaginative play calling - we had the best players but we used them like vanilla
5. Last offensive series against LSU - the bad break of losing JaMo and Metichie in 2021 wasn't BOB's fault, but '22 LSU is squarely on him!

Otherwise, good luck to you BOB and I hope in some way you can help our boy Mac up there in Boston!

Save your time. It was obvious!

IMO, Kingsbury only returns to the college level if he cannot get a gig in the NFL. Regarding Tom Herman, I really don't want a coach who tucked his players in at night and gave them hugs before they went to bed while at Texas.
I forgot about the tucking in players. I'm trying to picture CNS tucking in Mount Cody and turning the light out as he left the room. It's quite a scene. :ROFLMAO:

I'm assuming Lebby's "balance" in the run/pass game is more traditional in the sense it primarily involves running backs.

Based on Jess's article it sounds like Mullen and the Philly QB coach would gravitate to more QB runs than Lebby.
