BAMA vs. the barn - pick the score ......

The line on this game is Bama +14. I don't see that happening in such an intense rivalry. I think Bama wins and does so easily, but I'm thinking 24-13.

The LSU game was the only time I ever seriously believed the outcome was in doubt. I don't see that happening again, either. Bama will control both lines of scrimmage, keep it blue collar and businesslike, and never let the game get out of their hands.

My gut says it'll be close, say 14-3 @the 1/2. By the close of the 3rd it'll be 20-13 & remain that way until mid-way through the 4th when our steady offensive tempo finally wears their D out. Much of the credit will have to be imparted upon our smothering defense forcing nothing but 3 & outs for all but aubie's lone 2nd half scoring drive.

I posted on another thread that the Tide would win 55-0. That's what I WANT to happen. What I think will happen is only slightly different. The boogs will do everything within their power to stop our SEC and NC title hopes, including employing some illegal chop blocks, in hopes of inflicting personal injury on our players. However I also think if they try something along those lines, CNS and the Tide will call it to the ref's attention and make the boogs pay dearly.
I think the only way the aubies score any TD's at all is if we turn the ball over in our own territory. If that doesn't happen they will be limited to FG's.

This is the last game of the regular season and one in which the Tide proves to all the naysayers that we are truly deserving of the #1 status that has been bestowed upon us. IMO the best way to emphasize that point is to humiliate the tigg-ears on the field and leave them bruised, battered and bleeding as they take that long ride back down the road.

Auburn gets one freak punt return for a TD, but Alabama won't let 'em inside the 20 otherwise, and if they do, it's a turnover. Meanwhile on offense Coffee, Ingram, and Upchurch really light up the scoreboard like only they can. Auburn defense is tough, but they find holes galore and the final score is:
