Doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things, but I don't like that it was thugessee that gave us our first SEC loss. Roll Tide and on to uga this Saturday.
It’s basketball. Teams lose games. As long as they are unbeaten in March.
We just have to bounce back. I believe we will.

I’m understanding why a road win is so hard in basketball. The schools hire who they want that will allow them to play the way they want. Tonight UcheaT hired officials that won’t blow the whistle.
Its time for basketball officials to be treated like the football officials. Under the auspices of a league and having a responsibility to a league. And able to be punished by a league when they suck.

This one was pretty infuriating, and it sucks to lose to Tennessee, but kudos to the team with the way they kept fighting. Last year's team would have gotten blown out tonight. We:ll beat em by double digits in Nashville. RTR!

It's hard to believe in the refs' honesty, when Miller can just stand in one place, still, outside the ring, and get called for blocking...
No shame in that loss. Thought it would be a loss before tip off and watching the officiating that was actually a win. Refs effectively neutralized our best player on both offense and defense and could never get rim game going because we could rarely get that far before getting shoved or pulled to the ground or off the court. Takes pressure off being undefeated now.
I didn’t get to see the second half. Man, they were running us off the three point line in the first half. Now teams are going to be doing that to us for the rest of the year. I’m a bit worried.
Let's get that misconception out of the way. No team hires the refs for a particular game. The officials association assigns ref, according to availability, seniority, etc. The refs contract is with the conference. A couple of years ago, our head of basketball officials explained that he basically supervised nothing. Even if one got blackballed by a school, his friends would just get even - and you'd eventually run out of officials...
Thanks Earle for starting this. I had to go to the store to buy a bag of oranges and then ran over them with my car 
They do not hold them accountable in football.
Did the crew that reffed the Alabama/UT football game work again? I believe they did, in fact, the very next week.
There is ZERO accountability for referees in the SEC.
True, true and true about the officiating but our stunningly sloppy guard play was every bit as pivotal.
