Bama's final ranking?

Just thinking about the rankings and what may happen. A Bama victory and Texas lose would have to put us at number 2, right? I guess USC/PSU winner could jump us but I hope not. A lose to Utah and we would fall out of the Top 5, maybe to 7 or 8. So anyone that says this game isn't important or worth getting up for is crazy. A Sugar Bowl trophy, BCS victory, and Top 3 finish are on the line. Let's get excited about this one!! Roll Tide baby!!:biggrin:

If Texas loses, I think we are #2 or #3. A close MNC game could leave those two at #1 and #2.

We could win and stay at #4 if Texas wins too.

We should be #3 if we win, but I have a feeling we will end up at either #4 or #5. They will try to put USC ahead of us after they run up a huge score in this game today. Texas will also finish ahead of us after they hammer Ohio State.

I dunno...There's a huge love fest for Oklahoma and Florida, so I really don't see a split MNC. If there is one I think it would come from a very close BCS NC game and Texas blowing out tOSU.

Regardless, ya'll are probably right...#3 is about as good as we can hope for. I expect us to win, hopefully comfortably, and won't be suprised at all to see us remain at #4.

I think several could've beat us tonight.
I think we peaked in the Auburn game.
That and I think the UTES coaching staff did a heck of job preparing for us.

I am pumped about next season though.

I got around 30 text messages by half with stupid I mean STU PID people all talking about the let down of the SEC. Come on we are out of the top 8 might be out of the top 10 with the people that only read the paper and have no clue about M. Johnson going down, etc. etc. I say 10 or 11.

The people of the football world really don't know much about football, very few even played the game.
