If you had to hire a football coach for your university for the future and both were available, who would you hire given both in their prime?
I don't think this is a weird question at all. CNS is has a winning % of .800 at Alabama at a time when there are many good programs. Coach Bryant won in an era when there were a only a handful of programs in the hunt for the NC. He dominated because he was an excellent coach. He quickly grabbed who he wanted from Alabama and then the Southeast, in terms of recruiting and won NCs. CNS is doing the same and fending off many more aggressive recruiters.:conf2:
Weird question on multiple levels.
No disrespect to CNS, because I think he's the best coach in college football, but he doesn't belong in the same sentence with Coach Bryant at this time.

It's like asking, father or grandfather? You certainly would not be where you are today without either one.
