Looks like Alabama and ND are vying for some big talent. From what I am reading about ND's recruiting this year there are several big names that are being considered by both of our schools. Do I need to mention Mustain, I didn't think so. You guys may have a shot at him because Weis has already committed 2 of the nations top quarterbacks and is looking big time at, I think his name is Jimmy Clausen. They have been saying that this kid is leaps and bounds better than his brothers. Goodluck to all who are trying to get Mustain. If you guys get him I'm sure he'll flourish in your program, but I would love for him to flourish in ours.

Today's paper was the first I'd heard about Mustain being interested in Bama (among his top 4). I thought he already committed to Arkansas. Glad he's got some high profile teams on his list besides them (less TN, of course).

I don't know if this has been posted yet, if so, sorry guys:

Top passer not close to decision

QB Mustain weighing Irish, Vols, Tide, Hogs

Mitch Mustain, the nation's top-rated high school quarterback prospect, caused a stir in Arkansas when he pulled his commitment to the Razorbacks off the table earlier this month.

While Houston Nutt's program is still in the hunt for the Springdale (Ark.) star, Mustain is now open to other possibilities a month and a half before national signing day.

From what I can tell, one of the two QB's that Weis signed may play WR. One of them broke several records at his high school while playing wide receiver. Weis already has verbal comits from some top defensive players in the nation. Also, even if a coach has one maybe two good QB's, do you think he's going to turn down Mustain? Any team would love to have two of the top rated QB's in the nation, one gets hurt the other steps in. But this kid seems really unsure of where he wants to go. He's leaving everyone in limbo until Feb. 1.
