Biggest Rivalry

No doubt about it to me its auburn. I don't have to live around a lot of tenn fans so I'm sure that has something to do with.

It has to be Auburn. The Iron Bowl is one of the top 2 rivalry games in college football with Michigan/Ohio State being the other. I think it is the top rivalry game in college football. I think Tennessee is very close to Auburn as a rival to Alabama but Alabama's biggest Rival is Auburn. Whoever wins the Iron Bowl wins state bragging rights, an advantage in recruiting and alot of times the winner goes on to the SEC Championship game.

Here is my order of Alabama's Rivals in the SEC:

1. Auburn
2. Tennessee
3. LSU
4. Florida
5. Ole Miss
6. Mississippi St
7. Arkansas

To me, it's the Vols. I hate them. I find their fans, for the most part, to be a classless bunch of rednecks. I'm from Huntsville and for those of you without a map, lies very close to Tennessee. I love the state of Tennessee, but despise the University.

Auburn people have the little brother syndrome and I pity them more than anything. Especially those that did not even go to school there. I mean, you have a choice of the school you route for and you pick Auburn. Really? What's wrong with those people. I have a sis-in-law who grew up in Enterprise and she despises the barn as much as I hate UT. So, I guess geography is important. I can pull from AU in OOC games, heck they are Alabama kids, or at least eastern Georgia, but never the Vols and their puke orange.

Well, if Coach Bryant hated Tennessee enough to play against them with a broken leg, I guess I'd have to say the viles, but then he never played against the boogs.

For pure hatred, it's John Deere Tech, but since Fulmer, the viles aren't far behind.

I am somewhat surprised by this question. It is not even up for discussion! Not only are the barners our biggest rival, the iron bowl is widely recognized as one of college footballs biggest rivalries.......

According to many the 3rd saturday in October is too, thats why it made it onto the gridiron rivals tailgate tour and not the iron bowl.

I say Florida. Auburn is once again irrelevant (as usual), once phatimus left Tennessee that rivalry came down a few notches, LSU is on the decline. Right now we are geared towards natty champs and florida is our one hurdle every yr.
