Okay, I debated whether or not to start the thread, but since I usually do I figured what the heck. Plus I pretty much nailed it last year.

1. michigan loses 4 games including the nothing bowl game the go to. no playoffs for them.
2. uga does not win the SEC or even play in the SEC championship game.
3. a lower seed will beat a higher seed in the playoffs (12 over 5 or 11 over 6). this will make the idiots think expanding the playoffs was a good idea. they will ignore when that same team gets blown out later in the playoffs.
4. a big name team will be left out of the playoffs and there will be some demanding we need to go to 16 teams. probably michigan or USCw.
5. I will eventually cave and end up watching college football anyway.
6. Bama wins the national championship in football and basketball.
7. the failcons make the playoffs and the NFC title game.

that is all I got. what say you?

Good stuff.

I saw an article that showed every Alabama coach‘s record for year one going all the way back to Wallace Wade. If we go by that, coach KD will go 7/5 and lose to Auburn.

so my bold prediction will he will be the first to go 10/2 and beat the snot out of the Barn.

Are these in any particular order (by confidence in prediction, etc)? Also, do you mind sharing what you got right (and didn't) last year?

no order at all. completely random.

Last year I got 4 out 6 right.
clempson not winning the acc
uga missing the playoffs
texas 8&4 fires jimbo before November
texas winning the big 12 in the farewell season

the 2 I missed were Ohio State and michigan don't win the B1G. technically I was half right. but I really got fooled by Deon and predicted Colorado to win the PAC

Reactions: Oregon Tide
1. An Alabama player will win the Heisman (super bold it'll be Ryan Williams)
2. Beck won't even be invited to the Heisman Ceremony
3. A team other than Clemson or FSU will win the ACC
4. Oregon will win the Big 10 but Ohio State will beat them in the playoffs
5. Texas will win the SEC but lose to us or Georgia in the playoffs

If he's not willing to change...100%!
Yeah, I'm likely in the minority, but I think Saban really should have retired a year or two ago. In retrospect, those of us who were vocal about how sloppy the teams looked were seeing the end coming in slo-mo.

I almost picked your #3 too. I would have said SMU or gone really crazy and said Georgia Tech.

Your #9 and #10 are just plain crazy talk

I usually participate in these but I'll be honest...

I don't know who the main conferences are any more and who gets the 4 Playoff Byes.

I don't know who's in what conference and which teams went where.

I don't even remotely know what players are on what teams anymore.

I still haven't even decided if I'm going to watch a single game.

I'm teetering on just being 100% done with CFB.
