Bold predictions for the 2024 football season

None of the top QBs in the nation put up spectacular numbers. Because of that there will be a non-QB to win the Heisman.

I think Sark is a really good coach, now with his priorities straight. I think his best coaching days are ahead of him. I think in due time he and CKD will be the top coaches in the SEC.

Regarding Sark, I tend to agree....so long as he can remain sober.

It's pretty clear that he won as much as he did at UDub and USCw in spite of his addiction. I think at least some of the inconsistency came from a bottle, not shortcomings in his inherent coaching ability.

If Sark stays off the booze, and given the essentially unlimited resources of UTw, he will be formidable.

Regarding Kirby, and as much as I hate the way he left Tuscaloosa, there's no doubt he's a good coach. Yes, he had a favorable schedule in the SECe, and that advantage is now gone. Had UGA faced an SECw schedule, he probably would have some more losses. But they still would have been national title contenders.

Not bold, a fairly standard media prediction that I agree with. Quinn Ewers and Carson Beck will be the top two candidates for the Heisman Trophy at the end of the season.

A 10-2 SEC team will miss the playoffs. That team will be the loser of the LSU Alabama game.

1. One national semifinal will be a SEC Championship Game rematch: UGA vs.Texas
2. Jaxson Dart wins the Heisman
3. Prime Time will be hired by FSU over Thanksgiving break,
4. Vanderbilt will be bowl eligible.
5. Shane Beamer will be fired before Thanksgiving.

I may have picked a holiday too late in the year for my FSU prediction . . .
