News Article: Bottom 10

Remember a couple of years ago when everyone was fawning over Rutgers HC Schiano and how great Willingham was thought to be at Stanford?

Good points. And the Rich Rod led Michigan team is on the waiting list for the bottom ten.

It blew me away that West Virginia was thought so highly of preseason I mean they have some talent yes but they had a complete turnover in coaching staff and seemed to go with a rush judgment.

Michigan .. come on now who doesn't love it that RR is gettin it stuck to him.

Ye Ole Vols .. Oh how I love thee! well at least love seeing you in the bottom 10.

Yes, and I remember some threads on TideFans talking about Bama-Rutgers and debating if it would be a good OOC game. I guess the answer is that it would only be a good one about once every 25 years or so.

Wow, the viles on the bottom ten list. I might not be able to sleep tonight. On second thought, after a few cold ones in celebration I will probably sleep like a baby. Couldn't happen to a more deserving bunch of floks.

Well it's not inconceivable that Schiano's a good coach. He had success b/c of some players, sure, but winning big at Rutgers is a big deal. He was just dumb not to go to Miami or Michigan given the opportunity.

Pin State might come calling on him when JoePa expires. I think that is the only other HC job Schiano really covets.

A bird in hand. . .

Surely Paterno has some guys at Penn St he's grooming to take over? It was my understanding as well that Schiano wanted to go to PSU but it would have made sense to compromise with Mich or go to Miami for a couple of years. Dunno, I'm not GS I guess.
