I was looking on the AHSAA website the other day for something and saw an announcement they have made bowling an official high school sport. It will be classified as an emerging sport this year and be a sanctioned championship sport in 2015-16.
Anybody know of a school starting a team? No big deal to me, just thought it was interesting. If it gets more kids involved in something, that is a good thing.
