I saw some chatter yesterday about the Louisville coach being questioned about talks linking him to our head coach vacancy. Anyone hearing anything similar?

Probably just pressuring boosters into upgrading their facilities.

He is publicly questioning Louisvilles dedication to baseball. Could be pressuring their boosters. He could also be looking for a raise. I don’t recall him every being unhappy before.

Yeah. And two coaches at Cincinatti "Knew about" the betting. Disciplined because they "didn't report it" or "tell anyone". I wonder how deep this thing goes. No one involved wants to find out.

I see your point but Casey is a very good coach and is the son of one of the greatest ever to coach baseball. I don't know if his ties with UAB (and the barn) will keep him from being a serious candidate but we could do a lot worse.

Well, this staff did the unobtainable and are hosting a regional and still no love from the AD. Makes me believe he will do the same thing as always with the baseball program. Back to square 1 with a new staff and back to square 1 with recruiting.

Yeah but it’s going to be dismissed because you can’t sue a coach for a sports injury unless he directly caused it. Otherwise Nick Saban would have too many to count.

Most of the noise about that particular lawsuit is bogus anyways.
