We are blessed to have Brodie leading our offense. If we go on to win the Western Division Title (and hopefully the SEC Championship), we can look back to his leadership and gutty performance on our last drive in today's nail biter. Brodie came through again, this time with a key 20-yd run on a 3 and 9 play as the clock ticked toward one minute left remaining in the game. Without that run
we don't get a first down and we have to punt the ball, and possibly go into OT. Thanks Brodie! RTR! Let's go beat those Vols!

A drive like that is what really makes Brodie Croyle a great team leader. Sacrificing his body on that run, and then calmy leading the team to a game winning field goal. Indeed, we are so fortunate to have him as our quarterback.

The run/dive reminded me of John Elway and his gutsy dive for the endzone in the superbowl a couple of years ago. This kid was playin w/heart. More heart than I think a lot of us could ever put out. RTR!

With the announcer saying he should have slid, I was very pleased to see Brodie play like he wanted to win a football game instead of wussing out. That is how football games are won.

during the run I said to my wife I bet he doesn't slide on this run. I know how much of a gamer Brodie is and with the game on the line I knew what he was going to do.

Let me put it this way, I was wearing my #12 jersey while beaming with pride. (as I do every Saturday).

Way to go Brodie! As well as the whole team, for proving doubters who thought you couldn't overcome a close game. RTR!!

That last drive was outstanding. Great play calling. Great decisions and throws by Brodie. Great clock management. And a clutch FG to win it.

It reminded me of a few drives CMS put together when he was our QB. :)

A "couple" of years ago?????? ;)

I glad to know I wasn't the only one in the stadium that thought Croyle was putting on his best Elway impression on that two minute drill.

That drive is the best example of what we were missing last year once he got hurt...we would have lost that same game last year if playing with backup quarterback...INCREDIBLE poise & leadership...there's no way Brodie's letting this team lose this year, especially not a game like that...he's gonna win or die trying...RTR

That drive was a sign of something huge: the return of the traditional Alabama confidence.

These guys don't give up. They believe that they can win the game and they just go to work.

I keep remembering something that was stated during the 1994 Mississippi State game and then re-iterated during the 1998 LSU game: When it comes down to the last-minute game-deciding drives, Alabama just believes that they're going to win... and deep down inside, the other team believes that Alabama is going to win also. That belief is a huge factor in what happens in a drive such as that. A team can almost will themselves to win when they so strongly believe in their ability to get it done.

I believe that we might have lost a bit of that quiet confidence during the turmoil early this decade, but it appears to be coming back.

While we are giving Brodie his much deserved credit, let's not forget that that last drive was a TEAM EFFORT. It took the hard work and dedication of the other 10 guys to make it happen.
