My grandfather was a hard-drinking exec for a construction company in Jackson MS. In the Mad Men days, and before.....when there was a bottle of whiskey in their offices. I remember seeing it when I would visit him.

He would take my older brothers out on boozing trips on his houseboat, and relay stories.

Apparently, he would take his secretary out to the Pearl River levee. Unscrew the light bulb out of the ceiling of the car so it wouldn't come on while he was doing his business in the back seat.

Other colorful stories that my Mom wasn't really proud of. I can understand why.
