Everyone is so tired of the SEC that they created a playoff that would have had 4 SEC teams in this year. A year the media says is a down year for the SEC, still get 4 in.
They should really call this thing the SEC/Big10 Playoffs.

That reminds me of an old Mal Moore story. The story goes that at SEC Media days (99 I assume) people are fawning all over Phil Fulmer and his NC ring. Moore is standing nearby and is asked, about the NC ring he's wearing. Someone asks what year it's from. He replies that he doesn't know and promptly takes it off, gives it a close look, and then tells the group what year it was from.
