Clemson is one of the most SEC-like teams outside of the SEC. Middle of the pack SEC, but still they'd be in a pack with teams like LSU, Florida, and Texas A&M. Those teams can all get you if you're not careful.

The problem is they played two SEC teams, otherwise they'd probably be around where Notre Dame is ranked.

That's what you get when you expand to 12 teams; there are only 3-4 real contenders. I can't say this years Bama would fare any better against Texas at home.

I think Dabo is pretty absurd but he’s a really good coach and he’s created a solid culture at Clemson.

I was not surprised at all by them beating SMU (really kind of expected it), and I’m not surprised by them making this sort of a game today.

Wouldn’t really bother me if they beat TX.
