Caitlin Clark can Ball and I like watching games that she is playing.

But the quality of that league as a whole is pretty weak and I'm not sure I'd choose to watch a random game over CFB.

But also I haven't watched a single second of any CFB game since Norman OU.
Women's basketball is an inferior product in every way. If it were not propped up by ESPN ownership, it would have folded many years ago.

This is kinda what I figured. I think people don’t understand the advantage college sports has with home field advantage compared to NFL or NBA. It’s probably a couple points in pro sports but a big college sports team with huge fan base is probably a 10-14 point advantage when the home team is hyped up. It is similar even in the regular season just looking at our struggles on the road last few years. You have to jump out as a road team and take the crowd out or it is going to be difficult to win. Then you add a southern team going up in the weather and a very cold week it is even worse.

My buddy is up at the game. He thinks PSU has a good chance at the championship game since they'll win today then have Boise State and then either Notre Dame which isn't that good or a Beck-less UGA.
They had the easiest road, to be sure.

And to think, we’re going to be forced fed 4 more mediocre teams in 2027 because this is all about fairness.
Playoff game inventory for TV partners is why these things expand. Ironic that expanding to 16 this year would improve the quality of the playoffs as get you better quality teams in slots 13-16, than what you have in 10-12 this year.

16 would produce better matchups every year, but would make conference championship games totally meaningless.

Penn State is a lot better than some people give them credit for. They still will have trouble with speed and super athletic teams that have lot of talent on the outside. There really isn’t lot of that on their half of bracket. SMU has a little bit of that but are too overmatched inside on the lines to use it.
