No. They're not.

Penn State has a very highly rated QB prospect, two outstanding RB’s and one of the best tight ends in college football. They also have a solid offensive line and one of the most talented defenses of lines with 2 1st round prospects. There weakness is at wide receiver and secondary but with solid running game and ability to get pressure on the quarterback with 4 can help minimize an average secondary.

That’s the thing that so many casuals don’t get. In the 10 years of the 4 team playoff, we only had ONE year (2022) where both semifinal games were competitive. All the other years, at least one semifinal was a blowout. The only reason why 2022 had two good semifinal games is because the two best teams (UGA and OSU) played each other. The other game was two teams that had no business being there, but they played each other…

We don’t need 12 teams. We BARELY even need 4.
