That was actually the smartest thing he's ever said. Athletes should NOT be role models to kids and I'm not sure why parents or people in general expect them to necessarily present a positive example for THEIR kids. Parents AND PARENTS ALONE are to be role models to their children. They are the only people that are obligated to be role models to their children IMHO. If athletes or anyone else for that matter is a positive role model for a kid then that's great. However, it's parents who are obligated to mold and shape their children and are/should be responsible for being positive examples and role models to their kids and even point out which public figures to emulate and not emulate.

Of how someone goes overboard with themselves. Yes, he tells it like it is... but, problem is that's not always the way "it is." While some of his views are correct, many of his most vocal outbursts are totally wrong.
