Not to nitpick, but I believe Auburn's uniform provider at that time would have been Russell, not Nike.

It will be years down the road before it's admitted that scam was paid (you have to be as dumb as a bag of hammers to think otherwise) just like Barkley admitted he was paid to go to the barn... I agree with you guys, Barkley isn't afraid to give his opinion or make a statement on something..hats off to him for that...

Nike supplied them with their basketball shoes and I think uniforms. Barkley is a "Nike guy". At any rate this how a lot of basketball recruiting is done.
