UAW ahead as first ballots counted in union vote at Volkswagen's Tennessee factory

the mercedes plant in alabama is voting soon


it will be interesting to see if the kia plant in west point, ga follows suit

The Hundai plant in Montgomery is only at about 30% for the union currently.

The Republicans in Alabama are putting on the full court press against the UWA. I'm not pro-union; I dropped my union membership many years ago, but Mercedes is screwing their employees, so more power to them if that's the direction they want to go.

ETA...the only Democrat I've voted for since Bill Clinton in my elementary school mock-presidential election is Walt Maddox, but of late it seems like if the GOP is against it, it might be worth considering any possible merits.
