For the recrd, I condemn the four documented cases of election fraud in 2016. But let's not deflect this thread quite so soon.
hillary's fake news operation covered up the other 2,999,996 cases using the magic clinton foundation powers that are kept locked away in her private basement server, but of course you can't see that because of your libtard blinders.

Pretty much any hacker group operating out of Russia and operating against a foreign government (or trying to influence a foreign election) is going to have the approval of Vladimir Putin. There will be a cut-out, but this had Putin's approval. Russia does this all the time. The Soviets did as well.

I'm not sure what you do about it. Internet security is one of those cases in which an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

Those on the LEFT need to wake up................

I truly respect you for your political opinions/convictions as individuals.......I probably don't agree with you a lot but I do respect your views.

All that having been said, the LEFT certainly doesn't have any moral high ground to stand on. Bill Clinton used the Whitehouse as a glorified Ho-tel. The LEFT wants illegals to be given amnesty. Dead people voting for democrats. Hillary taking money from foreign gvts thru her foundation. Hillary and Bengazi (not to mention the attempted and apparent cover up from the top down) .
Forced healthcare down everyone's throats and not even (admittedly by Nancy) knowing what all is even in that monstrosity........and the list can go on and on.

I'm not saying that the Republicans hold any moral high ground because they sure don't. That is what is so sad about where this country is at right now and the wrong direction it is headed in. There is no one in our leadership that has any kind of moral compass at all. Most of those in Washington (and to a large degree in state and local gvt) have no problems doing what they need to do to keep power for themselves.

There is enough shenanigans going on like this on both sides and it all needs to be cleaned up or we're done as far as being the country we'd all like to be (or at least most of us).

I'm not sure either, but foreign propaganda has become a much more powerful weapon with the internet and social media. Angela Merkel is up for re-election next year, and WikiLeaks has just started dumping (and editorializing) hacked information in the very same way we saw them target Clinton. I'll give you one guess where that hacked material originated.

U.S. intelligence agencies have concluded with “high confidence” that Russia acted covertly in the latter stages of the presidential campaign to harm Hillary Clinton’s chances and promote Donald Trump, according to senior administration officials.

They based that conclusion, in part, on another finding — which they say was also reached with high confidence — that the Russians hacked the Republican National Committee’s (RNC) computer systems in addition to their attacks on Democratic organizations, but did not release whatever information they gleaned from the Republican networks...

The intelligence agencies’ conclusions... add a complex wrinkle to the question of what the Russian government’s evolving objectives were in intervening in the U.S. presidential election.

“We now have high confidence that they hacked the DNC and the RNC, and conspicuously released no documents” from the Republican organization, one senior administration official said, referring to the Russians.
Intelligence: Russians hacked RNC too, to hurt Clinton, help Trump

We'll have to see, but I think the gravity of a CIA report far outweighs a dismissible story by some investigative journalist. They may not be able to ignore it. But beyond the politics, I hope that the patriots with the GOP Congress (and there are a few) wouldn't ignore it.
Ah, the third red scare I guess.

Yeah, when wikileaks starts dumping info about events/statements/attitudes that public officials have denied, it feeds the populist "they're all a bunch of crooks and liars" narrative.

Yup. And politics is like mud wrasslin: everyone gets dirty. Shine a light on one side only, and you can direct public perception pretty easily.

I would say it's mind boggling to me that the rights response is, meh we got power who cares how we got it and their voters seemingly agree
It's equally mind boggling that so many on the right are willing to contort themselves into a pretzel of illogic in order to believe that Clinton ran a child prostitution ring from inside a nonexistent pizzeria basement, but will dismiss what appears to be an actual conspiracy involving the highest level of the U.S. government.

I am at this point questioning their patriotism

If you love this country, this should bother you

McConnell comes out of this story somehow looking like an even more vile human/turtle. He threatened that, if Dems leaked this intelligence before the election, he would attack and unleash a full fledged partisan fecal storm. Then literally days before the election, his own party leaks some non-story about Weiner's emails. Party before country. Perhaps the Russian RNC hacks uncovered something he really doesn't want released?

And of course, immediately after the election, McConnell's wife is given a shiny new job in the Trump White House. Seems like quite the quid pro quo.
