Anyone coming to Gadsden to see Coach Kines at Crosspoint Community Church? I will be there. Can't wait.

This is my first post on this board and I hope to have many more! I have been trying to post for a while now but for some reason I couldn't. I finally tried again tonight and BOOM! I can! I have been reading the post on here for a while and have found this to be the best overall of all the Bama boards I have been to. You guys have great info and seem to get along great!

welcome to the board!

I have met CKJ several times eating lunch in Tuscaloosa. He really likes his BBQ. Anyway, he is the most unassuming guy you would ever meet for the role he plays. I mean to look at him he does not look like a college football coach. From looking at his wardrobe it is obvious the man has every dollar he ever earned. He reminds me more of someone's granddad. Dont get me wrong, I am not downing him at all. I find this very intriguing and comforting.

He is a normal genuine guy who hasnt forgotten where he came from. He is what BAMA is all about.

Welcome bamafan,

I too am a Gadsden man. I actually went to the school that Crosspoint used to support, Coosa Christian, which has since burnt down and been rebuilt with a new name.

Curious, what part of Gadsden are you from? I'm from Southside and actually grew up playing soccer against Brodie. I was proud of the NFL talent that came out of our fair town (i.e. Brodie and Cadillac) and I hope to see it continue. Maybe that new super school (Gadsden City High School?) just built can start producing some D-I material. They need to with that huge stadium they're building. :eek2:

Drove down 759 Sunday and that stadium grass is awsome. I'm going up this fall to watch a game.

Wish I could go, but I can't. I have never heard him speak before but I can only imagine he is quite entertaining. :)
