"Coach" ..the TV series.........

This morning, getting ready for work, the TV series "Coach" was on (a cable station) and it was the one where his team, Minnesota, was going to play BAMA in a Bowl game........

Have you guys been bombarded with this episode in Alabama?

"Coach" rocks! That was one of my favorite episodes.

That was a great show and especially that episode!

Craig T. Nelson is fantastic in that show...he's the kind of coach most people hate, but his players love because he makes them successful!

Correct, his team was Minnesota State... but they used footage from Minnesota games.

Actually, if I remember that episode correctly, it wasn't a bowl game. It was a regular season game during the season where Hayden's team won the National Title(Believe me, I watched Coach all the time when I was younger).

i used to watch the shiow, but missed that episode for some reason...I wish I could catch it on reruns somewhere and check it out...

I was ticked-off when we "lost" that game. But I was more upset that they had us wearing crimson pants along with our white unis. I think Craig also "beat" Florida that year. Something else that I often speculated; Craig's team got into the NC game when BC upset Notre Dame-which actually happened. The witers did an excellent job of inserting that event into the storyline. I often wondered what would have happened if it would have been us and the barn whose outcome would have been the focus. We lost the Iron Bowl to the undefeated probation team that year when Jay Barker went down with an ACL injury. I also watched "Coach" regularly. RTR

That's correct. It was Minnesota State, but you could tell the inferences.

Yes, I'm old enough to remember when that espisode aired in prime-time.

And, the episode when they won the national championship was hillarious! Luther couldn't get on the field to save his life!
