I would have Michigan state #3 , Oklahoma #4 and Oregon #5

I would place Georgia and Texas A & M ahead of the lucky little school down the road in west Georgia. No offense to the University of West Georgia. I mean the clothes line school.

If I had a vote I would have FSU, the barn, Oregon, Michigan State then OU and us at least for this week.

I honestly don't like the way these polls are done. IMVHO, they should be a cumulatively ranking of teams with most impressive resume's as the weeks go on.


Mine's not perfect I guess (and it's week 1 so sue me for not having more material to work with) but mine would be more like:


1. Texas A&M (beat #9 SC on the road 52-28)
2. UGA (pulled away from #16 Clemson and shallacked them)
3. Auburn (ditto but against an unranked Arkansas)
4. LSU (played terribly the first half but showed some heart by coming back to beat #14 Wisconsin)
5. Bama (beating WV [from a power conference] by 10)


FSU a very close #6. Yeah, it's all SEC but which teams outside the SEC actually had more impressive performances than these guys?
