Question: Colonoscopy questions for all that have had it also stress test also also health concerns

Typically, pathology reports take about 2 weeks, give or take. Sometimes they come in faster and sometimes they come in slower. And then the specialist has to review them. And if they are waiting on that last test to come in they will often wait so they have all the information before they call.

Be relieved they haven't called you to meet them at the hospital today.

No news is usually good news.
Actually no news is just no news. What is taking so long? Coming up on 3 weeks now and nothing uploaded and no call. The longer this takes, the more my mind wonders if they are getting mixed results and are checking over and over to makes sure.

final test results came back. negative for leukemia. this is a huge burden finally over with. the wait for this has been torture. Still no idea what is causing the high white cell count but at least it isn't cancer.
Well my 3 month follow up is this Friday. Hopefully everything has returned to normal and I am all good. My stress level is still not good but I am exercising now. I have lost 15 pounds since the last visit.

January 1, 2024 I started working out every day -- stretching, walking, and lifting weights (nothing earth shattering!) I have lost weight and gained muscle to where I can walk 18 holes (6 miles) with no real problem -- but not in 90+ heat I can tell you.

Anyway, I wish I had done this for the last 20 plus years. Core strength is so vital and has eliminated many of my spine issues -- I do have arthritis of the spline. Still in remission from the Myeloma and enjoying life.

Get off the couch and get moving ....

I have an appointment for a consultation for a colonoscopy in early September.

I have a myriad of health issues. I’m not old (57) but feel older. It’s a long story I don’t want to go into but just wanted to vent a little bit.

Hang in there...early detection gives one really good odds.
