I am THRILLED that Saban accepted the Alabama job! I hope he's with you guys for a long time and I hope he has immediate success at Bama, beginning with the 2007 season. I don't know if that's realistic or not, but from what I know about your team, he's got some high-quality talent to work with. It may or may not take a year or so for him to get his system in place, but I know he'll do well there in the future!

Now, get down to business paying Auburn back and start beating Tennessee like a rented mule so that the Dawgs and the Tide can play each other in future SEC championship games!

Thank you, Dawg. Look forward to seeing you guys in the Championship game soon. I expect the recruiting for the famers and the hillbillies to suffer a bit which should help everyone else.

The Dawgs have to be my second favorite team, they have some of the best fans out there. I look foward to meeting you guys in the SECCG really soon.:biggrin: GO DAWGS AND ROLL TIDE!!!!!!!
 
The quality of SEC coaching just rose exponentially. Now Ole Miss is the only school with a completely incompetent or certifiably crazy coach in the conference.

It's very realistic. One simple improvement would have kept Shula's job for him. Offensive line play. CNS and Co. improve that and Bama will be a competitive team.

Yup...and I personally think Bama and Georgia have the best two coaches in the league. Spurrier should probably be included in that list...and even though I hate it, Meyer (if he wins the MNC) will have to join them.

Thanks, at least now we can feel good about our head coach. We have somebody who will take care of business and not worry about hurting someones feelings. That has been a problem with some of our coaches in the past few years. Sometimes a head coach has to ruffle some feathers and Saban is the man that doesn't mind whose feathers he ruffles. Look forward to playing the Dawgs in a hard fought game.
