It seems like most of them will just shout louder, "It's a hoax! Tell me what I really have!!" as they gasp and die.i guess on some level, it will be interesting to see if they take it seriously this time around.

Yep. Comment sections of articles are cesspools full of idiots, bots, and trolls.I got off facebook right a year ago now, but last night my wife wanted me to read the comments section of an article posted by one of our local news outlets regarding the Delta variant. I can sum up the lion's share of the comments by simply saying "A LOT of people are about to die", The End.
It was absolute stupidity as to what people are believing about the virus. I literally read comment after comment stating that the vaccinated people are the ones spreading the virus and are the ones in the hospitals, not the unvaccinated. My wife and I go to church with a person who is "second in command" of a hospital network in our city. She told us Sunday "There's not ONE vaccinated person in our hospitals, NOT ONE, they are all unvaccinated people."Yep. Comment sections of articles are cesspools full of idiots, bots, and trolls.
My sister knows a guy who is hard-core anti-vax. He had to go to the hospital this week. High fever, internal bleeding, blood in stool, breathing trouble. He's back home now. Tested positive for covid. Insists that the docs were wrong and its just a hoax and they lied to him. Says he has the flu.It seems like most of them will just shout louder, "It's a hoax! Tell me what I really have!!" as they gasp and die.

Alabama’s surging new COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations are alarming the state’s medical experts, who worry that with such a low vaccination rate statewide, things will only get worse.
Alabama reported an increase of 2,726 new confirmed COVID-19 cases Wednesday, the largest daily increase since Feb. 4. The state’s seven-day average of new cases of 1,931 is an 815 percent increase from the average on July 1.
