Croyle replaced Damon Huard at quarterback in the fourth quarter. Huard left the game because of what the Chiefs described as a right shoulder injury. They weren’t more specific with details but have ruled Huard out of next week’s game against Cincinnati at Arrowhead.

That means Croyle will start against the Bengals

Good luck Brodie, Herman Edwards and the Chiefs remind me of another team Brodie played for.

This is the perfect opponent for Croyle's first start. The Bengals don't cover, tackle, sack, pressure the quarterback, play defense, etc.

The last to start was probably Jeff Rutledge. Rutledge started some games for the Washington Redskins in the 90s.

Rutledge had an amazing game coming off the bench in 1990. He threw for nearly 400 yards in the second half of a game. He got the start the next week but did not nearly approach the numbers in his previous game. That was his last start.

This is Brodie's chance to get back in the starting seat after he lost it during pre-season when Huard had his calf hurt and Brodie played mose of the pre-season game.
