I think the shotgun is a viable option. It gives the qb more time to see the field and the coverage. Given the fact that our OL will be less than what it has been I think using the shotgun would be a good strategy. RTR
The Shotgun and the spread formations are more slanted towards the style of offense that OC Dave Rader prefers. As long as Brodie is healthy I think we will see alot of it.
Depending on how many of the new RB's on campus make it academically, we'll see the split back-field more next season. That'll give us another blocker in passing situations...and an "out" for the QB in blitzing situations.
