I think the gap between Clemson’s D and Bama’s O isn’t as big as the gap between Clemson’s O and Bama’s D. Clemson doesn’t have as good a passing game but they have a very good RB and a much more mobile QB. I think the rah rah stuff Dabo does works in big games like the championship game and I think Clemson getting beat down last year is motivation for them just like Bama’s embossing loss against Clemson in 2018 is motivation too. I think Venebles will have some things cooked up to confuse Mac and have him make mistakes like he did to Tua.

I’d say Clemson’s chances of winning vs Bama are 70/30.

I think Ohio State's chances of beating Clemson are 80/20. Therefore, it doesn't matter what Clemson's chances are of beating Bama. They won't be there. I'm not a fan of Ohio State, just a realist.

Thinking about my reaction to Orgeron's latest actions and my corresponding feelings about Dabo...


We've only been in Tide Pride for five seasons, now, but were lucky enough to upgrade last year to four seats in the Crimson Tide Club.

If, in the next 8 to 10 years or so, Coach Saban were to retire and the powers-that-be were to decide to hire Dabo Swinney as our next head coach - even though he's a Bama boy - it would make the decision to renew a very difficult one for me, personally...
