He is an average coach, at a great recruiting location, in a baseball conference. It’s not as impressive as you think, and I guarantee you that he would be the biggest bust in the SEC if he shifted over. The proof is in the pudding.
And I've long suspected he's heavily employed the same sort of tactics he was part of while at Bama to make the best of this. Tigers rarely change their stripes.

I’ve always feared that if Dabo ever came back then there are alot of former players from that 92 team who are waiting to get their foot in the door. Some in which we really don’t want in Tuscaloosa.

Personally I would fear Dabo at Alabama than I would ever fear him at Auburn or LSU. Dub and LSUdad can have him. Probation and mediocrity is sure to follow him.

Dabo was a member of Mike DuBose's staff. I hope to never see a member of that staff at Alabama ever again! Yes, I'm an unrelenting SOB, but that's just the way I feel about the staff that was instrumental in putting us on probation. Don't wish ill for any of them, just hope that none of them are ever employed by the University again. Granted, I'm long on memory but short on forgiveness, but that's just the way I feel. I wish no misfortune on Dabo, just hope that he remains at Clemson for the rest of his coaching career.
I remember that staff. DuBose was HC my Jr year at UA. It’s hard to believe Arians went from OC and that bad call at Auburn to a Super Bowl winning HC.

Yup..I'd much rather have Coach Clark from UAB, he can flat out coach, I'm surprised he's still at UAB too be honest, he's won championships wherever he's been HC..

Define “down”? Our definition is likely different than most.

our worst year since 2008 is better than 75% of the colleges out there have on their best season.
That’s why I put it in quotes. Our “down” years were due to scheduling bad luck, injuries, and slight staff issue. Clemson is experiencing a down year. I want to see how the program responds. What is Dabo going to do to right the ship? Saban would upgrade the staff, changed offensive philosophy, change SC program, etc. to Bama rolling.

Okay let’s analyze this for a second. We are trying to make a case for Dabo elsewhere. Most likely the SEC.

He would be a better fit at a school like Nebraska if he doesn’t stay at Clemson.

DuBose kind of lost his grip and one criticism was how he mixed and confused religion with football. I think he was giving the assistant coaches Bible verses to study before a game rather than a game plan.

There has been considerable criticism of Dabo over the years for religious things that seem over the top, like baptizing players after practice.

And that doesn’t touch the stuff that will get you in the NCAA doghouse.

Dabo struggling with FSU…. Wow he is such a great coach. He deserves credit for leading by 4 in the 4th vs FSU.
I was just scanning the scoreboard on ESPN and kept scrolling back and forth looking for the score of the Clempson/FreeShoes score only to realize they weren't there as I was looking at "top 25 scores"...
