I understand college kids will drink, but, when you have as much at stake with the upcoming NFL Draft..Why chance screwing that up..Have all the fun you want, don't take your car, have a friend drive you around or call Uber..Just too much at stake coming up..

To piggy back on what you said TM09, Dak already got in a brawl down here in my area with some drunken guys last spring break. Think he would learn to stay away from the stuff in public, if not then then especially now. Nothing wrong with having a drink, just keep it somewhere that he's not leaving (unless he's in a bar "call a cab") and putting himself and others and himself in danger ( by being in a car), or not being around others who could cause trouble ( in public).

When some people get to drinking, the stupidity factor comes into play. The more they drink, the stupider they act. Sounds to me like this kid needs a chaperon.

If I remember correctly, Dak and his friends got jumped by a group of guys. They didn't go asking for it. But, yeah, driving under the influence is probably the dumbest thing ANYONE can do.

Fine, call a cab. My point is there are plenty of options available now.
Selma does have a point, but, there's a few lets say cabbies I'd just assume not get into their cabs..

Here's a article about a cab driver who either was justified in killing a passenger or was a ticking time bomb waiting to explode..My point being it may be safer to walk now days instead of calling a cab or Uber..

Mods I apologize for getting offtrack from sports & will be my last post about it I promise..

I don't know how many times he drinks and does no harm but I do know this is the second time he has gotten into trouble. He does not seem too bright to me. My mother always said two of her brothers were not very bright. Do you why that is, son? No momma. Because they keep making the same mistakes over and over again. She was right. They never did learn.

When was the first? When he was blindsided by some kids from Tennessee last year during spring break? I don't recall him being drunk during that incident, and nothing pointed to him being at fault.

Hello tidefans! This is my first post![emoji3]

I hope that Dak will stand up and take responsibility for his actions. He seems to be a good young man.

I know right lol! I was reading the thread and it just hit me to comment. It just bothers me when these young athletes put themselves in these bad situations!
