We need a few more Will Stroups. I'm definately high on the offense of Wilson and Rutledge, but the jury is still out deciding the norm for our batting: will it be of the cailber we saw today, or will it look more like game two from last Saturday?

Josh Rutledge, Ross Wilson, Alex Kubal, Austin Hyatt and Will Stroup made the All-Tournament team. Josh Rutledge voted MVP. He went 9 for 14. Most importantly, congrats to the team for bouncing back to win the last 2 games.

How would you guys "in the know" judge the level of competition at this particular tournament this weekend? It was nice to see how the guys played the past couple of games, but was the competition chop liver or somewhat respectable? rtr

i was at the game last night...wilson's hr was nice and all, but his triple was much more impressive. you don't see a helluva lot of triples to left field. granted the leftfielder stumbled while coming up to throw, but ross has some serious wheels!!!

uta and dbu are traditionally pretty good programs. rather or not they have anything this year i don't know. i also don't know a whole lot about nevada.
