Don't feel too pained, you can't lose what you never had. We were never THAT close.Hoping for :biga:.
It has pained me to watch Clowney all year, knowing we were close to having him dominate at Bama. We could use a dominate DE that can get to the QB. One of the few holes on our team this year.
I thought he was quoted saying that if we played a 4-3 he would have come to bama no question. Sounded pretty close to me.Don't feel too pained, you can't lose what you never had. We were never THAT close.

Okay. Even if that were true, which it's not entirely, the 3-4 isn't going anywhere so it's still pretty dang far.I thought he was quoted saying that if we played a 4-3 he would have come to bama no question. Sounded pretty close to me.

Yep, we'd have been awesome with Clowney, we might have even won a NC and getting ready to play for another....Hoping for :biga:.

no idea i hope he sees the light thoughWhen you phrase it like that(Ole Miss is in the top 3 or 4), doesn't that imply that they are the 3rd or 4th team? Maybe I'm giving him too much credit.
Normally...yes. But we will know on this one when the ink is on the paper and faxed in. My opinion, Ole Miss is still the team to beat. We have a good chance though. You hear sll kinds of news that changes seemingly every day. When you phrase it like that(Ole Miss is in the top 3 or 4), doesn't that imply that they are the 3rd or 4th team? I don't think there is any question that his brother being at Ole Miss will weigh in his choice, and it should. But, professionally? This choice could mean millions of dollars. It might not, but even a couple draft slots could mean a lot of money. Alabama would insure he has the best development possibility, with Ole Miss the concern is more that they just don't mess things up.I think it's still "I prefer Bama but my brother is at OM."
Denzel didn't have the grades (I believe it was the ACT score and he received a good score two weeks before signing day.)and the new 25 limit rule is killing it for kids like him. Another case of the presidents bending over backwards to save face. Has any other league done this no, so the SEC is in reality handcuffing themselves. Denzel would have had more offers ,but you can't risk spots on numerous kids that can't make the grades.I don't think there is any question that his brother being at Ole Miss will weigh in his choice, and it should. I'm guessing a lot of schools are kicking themselves for not going after Denzel. He barely had any interest and not only is he second team All-SEC, but he could be the reason his team lands the top college prospect. I just hope Robert does what is best for himself. It's good that he has loyalty to his brother, but his brother is doing just fine. Ole Miss, even with Robert is going to struggle to be third or fourth in the SEC West.
If Andrew Bone says less than 10%, they are probably really 90%.FWIW bone puts the % chance at 10 or less...
this and I'm sticking to what I have said all along he ends up at BamaIf Andrew Bone says less than 10%, they are probably really 90%.
