Getting Brown or Crowell would be great. Getting both of them would be one of the great accomplishments of the 21st century.
Thanks, for doing all of that 'splainin' but I already know all that stuff.Very very very unlikely we get MB and IC. Here's why...
Thanks, for doing all of that 'splainin' but I already know all that stuff.
Your analysis assumes that EL will beat out both MB and IC. It also assumes that MB &/or IC are highly concerned about competing against EL for PT and/or redshirting. Things might change, but at this point, I disagree with the dogma that it's highly unlikely Bama lands both Brown and Crowell.
I understand all that but it is also a well know fact that MB wants to go where the running game is a priority. So that means he want to go where he will get to be the primary back before he's a senior. Thats just my opinion on it. And yes I'm assuming that EL will be the starter once TR leaves.
88...How can anyone take off time for recruiting? I was just wondering?
Tide Fans would be better served if both you and Tidal Surge continued this RB info exchange in the RBs disappearing thread near the top of the board.

Please try and stay on topic in the threads. It makes for easier discussion and better reading.

According to his coach, he has said that he has advised Clowney to look at it as a business decision. This would mean that you can't stay at home forever, not if you're hoping to enter the NFL.
"It's a business decision," Carroll said. "Barring any serious injury, three or four years down the road he could be a first-round player, maybe a top-10 pick. He could be worth $40 or $50 million overnight."
If he looks at it that way, then Alabama could certainly be high in the mix.
Or if he seeks advice from his coach, then Alabama jumps to the top of the list.
So if Clowney doesn't choose Alabama, maybe he thinks he's not up to that much competition.
Wow typical bleacher report article
The best part about his coach is that he is a member of the Gamecock club for USC. Supposedly a big time GC fan. Unlike the coach for Fulton who was anti USC. That says alot coming from a coach who is a big fan of the instate school and still views us so high.
ok i posted a long post in the the trey topic go check it out. But Clowney is infatuated with bama and Saban. The only reason USC is even in play is because of location. However, all the USC people are hurting themselves with this one. Honestly BAMA has the lead. Also think about this it's SABAN VS Ellis Johnson. Who U got? Also to the person saying he will commit at the all star game. Maybe or what i am hearing thats a negative and a Big negative. I have heard within the next 20 days we will know something he is tired of the recruiting process. Think of him as julio and Ro. Doesn't like the attention.

"He is kind of a rare breed in that he's so big and so fast and he's got a great motor," said Bobby Carroll, Clowney's coach at South Pointe. "To see him run and he's so big, it's absolutely mesmerizing."
"I'm not putting down any other program in the country, but when I visited Alabama, that's a special place -- just the commitment those guys have," Carroll said, adding that Clowney is thinking about the big picture in making his decision. "I think he wants to go somewhere that's going to prepare him for the NFL."
Well I hate to become the boards Facebook stalker lol but oh well.. if I can get reliable recruiting info from it I'm gonna keep doin it....
Clowney posted about 5 mins ago that "he thinks he's goin to Bama" and he can't wait to get out of here..(Rock Hill)" a woman he called mom said that she doesn't want him to go (jokingly)... lol take that with a grain of salt but it continues to looks good for Clowney.
