Republicans in North Dakota have killed a bill to provide free school lunch to kids in low-income families. “I can understand kids going hungry, but is that really the problem of the school district? Is that the problem of the state of North Dakota?" said Sen. Mike Wobbema.

The program would have expanded a federal free lunch program to kids whose families make between 130-200% of the federal poverty rate — roughly $39k-$60k for a family of four. The cost was just $3 million a year.

On a side note, my job takes me to college campuses. We honestly don't want some of these kids voting and deciding our future. If you don't believe me, spend some time on a large campus.
We honestly don't want some backwoods stupid rednecks voting and deciding our future. If you don't believe me, spend some time in rural America.

We all can play this game, their are bad voters in every category but, only one party is actively trying to suppress votes.

I am so tired of the "both sides" crap. No one here has ever said that one side is perfect, we all no that every politician has their pros and cons. The "both sides" excuse is just a way for people to hide behind the radicalization of the GOP party. The historical parallels between what is happening in the GOP and the Nazi party in Germany is scary but, so many refuse to open their eyes. Remember, Hitler's first attempted coup failed as well. Trump refused to leave the white house peacefully the first time, if he is elected again, it will be worse the second time.

But go ahead and add me to your ignore list, click the facepalm or head bang on keyboard icon. Keep ignoring what is happening in plain sight for everyone to see.

I agree with every word of this. When you can grift on things that people actually care about, it can take you a long, long way. More importantly, division must be maintained at all costs. Imagine what would happen if people put aside their differences just long enough to demand accountability from our so-called leaders elected officials. This can never be allowed to happen.
Sorry, couldn't stand to see that word used here.

That quote could be written out many different ways and would hold true no matter which side you're on.

But yet a huge number of democrat candidates serve the Lord and protect the children while supporting abortion..

Trump derangement syndrome has truly come full circle. As I have said all along, this announcement of his indictment is nothing more than a political sham and a vindictive witch hunt. If we continue on this trend, we will soon find ourselves longing for the country we had.
