Decline of the G.O.P. Episode XI

A rising Republican star tipped by many to be Donald Trump's running mate should he win the presidential nomination has been involved in a clandestine affair for years, multiple sources tell DailyMail.com.

Married South Dakota governor Kristi Noem, 51 – who stresses her belief in 'family values' – and Trump advisor Corey Lewandowski, who is also married, began carrying on in 2019, if not before.

Now news of the relationship threatens to wreck Noem's chances of joining Trump's ticket in a potential rematch with President Joe Biden.

i imagine anyone not freebasing totally not wingnut propaganda would be unaware of this
Biden said it into a microphone at a speech with television cameras pointed at him. It was a running joke. Kind of like that idiot Dan Quayle not being able to spell potato. Stop being so sensitive and laugh at something sometimes.

With Trump's, let's say spotty history of being faithful, I would think she would fit right in.
I agree 100%, but Trump is still ridiculously reliant on the Evangelical vote. They seem to close their eyes to his sins, but I doubt they would do the same for her.

Those eyes might as well be welded shut at this point; if it’s “their people”, it’s not a sin. They lost whatever credibility they had as Christians a loooong time ago. It’s all a front: I know it, you know it, they know it, everybody knows it. And not enough people care to make a difference.

Education panel at FRC's activist conference includes Oklahoma's wildly reactionary and MAGA-minded state school superintendent Ryan Walters, who calls teacher unions "terrorist organizations" and claims Pres. Biden wants to destroy Christianity.

"There is no separation of church and state," Walters said at Pray Vote Stand, promising to put prayer and God into OK schools and bragging about the state's publicly funded religious charter school.

People can rationalize away damn near anything, especially when it comes to politics. I see it literally every day. And to me, the more amazing thing is that neither side realizes just how much they sound like "the other side." It truly is a modern marvel of human behavior. Every time I hear someone trying to defend either Trump or Biden, I feel like I'm watching the Dead Parrot sketch again.

Again with the “both sides” rationale? NO religious group has solidly announced support for Biden, and I have a “button” for anyone who thinks Biden has committed ANY crime that might compare to what Trump has done.
Biden’s administration has done three times more good for this country than Trump did - and I don’t like Biden.
Trump retained ownership of and profits from the DC hotel and that was OK; Hunter Biden (not even an elected official) has his dad join phone conversations in which he so far has been proven to say nothing illegal, and that’s a problem?
I’m done with those comparing Biden to Trump.
Hit the button, buddy.

The Oklahoma Land Rush was comprised in large part of people of people that found Alabama and Mississippi too sophisticated
