Okay, I've seen fans blame refs before, but check out this quote from gridscape.com:
"I have been to over 200 UT games and many other college and pro games in my lifetime. For the first time in my life today, I am convinced that I watched a "fixed" game. The Bama Boosters were definitely lining the ref's pockets today. If anyone does not believe this, just go back and watch the tape. Its pretty obvious. If the obvious four blown calls are not enough evidence, just look at the whole thing with the play clock. This is another example of Bama's cheating and win at all cost attitude that will ultimately land them on probation once again." (http://mbd.scout.com/mb.aspx?s=7&f=1372#s=7&f=1372&t=1260067)

I guess UT really won today. I mean, they played so WELL!!! And UT has NEVER been desperate to beat Bama (reference the "secret witness").

This is beyond pitiful. I would be embarrased if a Bama fan had posted this!!!!

The blatant hold that sprung the big gain on their first TD drive wasn't an issue either. I guess they can't take being 1-2 against us over the last 3 seasons.

What about numerous late hits and hits to the head of JPW, obvious attempts to go at his knees within the closing minutes of the game, and Blatant holding?
Refs always favor the visiting team, it shows no bias to the home team. Refs will go out of their way to help the visitor, I cant wait to go to Auburn:)

Maybe a case for what? Sometimes refs can hurt you, but throughout sixty minutes you have plenty of chances to overcome refs. However; there is a lot of talk about class around the SEC these days, saying our boosters paid off refs for us to win the game is outrageous. Here is another reason why I have no respect for the Vol Nation. Have fun with Fulmer, you escaped sanctions by placing the (well deserved) blame on Bama and now its biting you on your butt. Lets face it, events have come our way. We have the best Coach and he's here to Stay!!!!
Roll TIDE!

41-17, end of story. I have never in my life said that officials made the difference in a blowout like that. The officials were not playing the game, besides I can think of a few iffy calls that went UT's way.

Looking for any excuse to blame anyone. Its called desparation. They have a lot of that at utcheat. Losing by 24 points and whinning about the refs and clock are excuses.

The vile players at times looked lost on defense. John Parker had them confused the entire afternoon.

A few facts for the desparate in tutorsee.

I. Alabama passed for 363 yards. Say it ain't so.
II. Alabama picked Ainge off twice to stop their drives.
III. Alabama did not turn the ball over.
IV. Chivas could not figure out the Tide passing scheme. Major Applewhite schooled Cutcliff.

ut stop your darn crying it is embarrassing.

ut got taken to the woodshed for a third time this year. NO EXCUSES when you get you butt handed to you.

When you get blown out for the THIRD TIME - Pay attention - YOU CAN NOT WIN WITH a clock or even if the refs are on your side. GET A CLUE vile fans.

So if we paid the refs then we didn't get our money's worth with that questionable call before the half that gave UT 3 points.

From watching in the stadium, it's ridiculous. They hit our guys five yards OOB three times, without a flag. We hit their guy with both his feet in bounds - we get flagged. They held our receivers play after play and got away with it. One play, our WR made a dive with their guy driving him into the turf and the UT fans were screaming "uncatchable." They held on the OL almost every play. They hit late, trying to take out Wilson almost every play (without any luck), and only got called twice. They're scum and I'd like to quit playing them...

That post must've been written by the ut fan sitting behind us. EVERY single call against them was "bad" and I can't tell you the number of times he said that Bama "never" has a call made against us. Even on blatantly obvious fouls, he'd make some comment. He told me that Bama is known "throughout the conference" as always having the calls go our way. We finally just quit even saying anything to him.

At one critical juncture, they got a 33 second play clock. As I said earlier they're just hopeless as a fan base right now. They and fulmer are in bed together and I hope they snuggle up for a long time...

It seems like the best way to respond to these crazy accusations it to just smile and say "you're right, they're in our pocket, and we're going to keep it that way". Then, just wink and move on as you can't argue reason with the irrational. :cool2:

I thought the officiating was bad. When they give them 3 points before the half on an in-bounds hit, I pretty much lost it. The game was still close at that point. I didn't expect to shut them out at the half. And there was one no call where there should have been both a hold and a personal foul as two of the hoodlums teamed up.:mad2:

Well I dont know about bad ref calls but I just happened to be in Knoxville today(I'm a truck driver) and I was in one of the truck stops and one Tennessee fan told me that Alabama only won because 5 Tennessee players were suspended. I'm sorry but wasnt it the Alabama players that were suspended? 5 of them? Maybe my facts were wrong.

I saw a lot of that today while lurking around the UT forum. For what its worth, they blamed the coaching staff more than the refs. The game day thread at the Barn board however, was nothing but blaming the refs. One Auturd after another claimed we paid for the win. Their jealousy is getting rather amusing.
