No, they're not all Iraq war veterans, and they certainly aren't all liberals--but they do support a strong secure America, and they've backed their belief with honorable military service. And they've chosen the Democratic Party as the party that represents their values and the best direction for America.

Read about them. Think it over. Pray for our troops.

What is the point of this post? That democrats have a foriegn policy that refects todays reality? Please expound.

There are different points for different people. In your case, the point is that you might do well to rethink some of the turds you keep dropping about the Democratic party, and particularly about our patriotism. Go ahead and read a few of the bios on over 50 candidates for Congress. Maybe you'll get a sense of the real face of the Democrats. Maybe you'll ask yourself how come there isn't a similar bunch of military Republicans out there.

Yes, they have been recruited by the Dem party to try and bolster their image on military matters. The fact remains that 73% of our troops voted Republican in the last election. Also, because someone has served honorably, does not make them the best qualified or mean that they will serve their nation honorably in the political arena ie: Duke Cunningham and John Kerry.
