I believe (after being interrogated by a caller) he said that he attended the University but did not graduate.
I'll confess to listening to Finebaum for its entertainment value and will usually keep the show running while I'm at work, but I had to completely turn it off yesterday. Longshore's arrogance was a little much to stomach. While I understand his reasoning for agitating the Alabama fans (he was just trying to make a splash for the afternoon), I could only take so much of his "holier than most of the media here" approach. He just couldn't understand why there needed to be 800 media credentials and it came across as though he felt like it should be limited to an exclusive group (including himself).

The thing is, I don't think this was an act. I think he really takes himself that seriously. However, I had never heard of him before yesterday and based off of my one afternoon, I was very unimpressed.
Listening to some of the "talent" on the airwaves in this state makes me wonder if I gave up on the sports journalist dream a little too easily...
