Did Fran post on tidefans?

No, he's telling the truth when he says that he's computer-illiterate. OTOH, MM posted all the time defending Fran. He posted mostly on BamaMag, and some on TI. He registered here as "McWriter," but he never posted...

I can't believe that any coach would have the time to deal with the internet - if they have any time at all - it'd likely go to family-related things...but that's doubtful until MAYBE for about a month's window in there somewhere before spring & MAYBE early early summer...very small window of time tho...and I bet the internet is the furtherest thing from their minds-------

Yeeesh, the venomous hatred is just spilling out of every crevice over there now. If Houston Nutt had the "Haters to the North" to contend with, ol' Franteets is coverered with haters to the north, south, east and west.

What a hoot!

FWIW, on 680 The Fan radio tonight in Atlanta, Buck and Kincaid, and Jim Donnan, were discussing the prospect of Tubby going to A&M. Donnan said only way Fran keeps his job is a miracle.

I know President Witt use to post on the TexAgs site.

On another note, I can't believe someone posted Fran's home address on that site and the admins haven't taken it down. I dislike the guy, but come on, give him some privacy.

I think you're thinking of the present DOD Secretary, who admitted that he posted on that aTm site anonymously while being aTm president. I don't see any reason Dr. Witt would ever have posted on that site...

Bob Witt was not a coach either. :)

All this talk of "Tubbs" leaving for A/M jsut may get Tubbs a big fat stay-bonus & raise to boot...

He is mighty happy in Barn-Land & his son plays middle-school football, has friends, his wife is happy there, & they just moved into a million dollar trailer, I mean house, etc - I don't see him leaving easily...

I'd say that's the least he gets. If he gets what he really wants, it's out of Auburn. He's had his agent make a pass at every decent opening, including ours. That's not a sign of a happy man...

Robert Gates as Ranger66 I believe. His posts were always helpful to the fans during confusing times. They were ecstatic when he admitted his identity upon resignation.

Well, from personal experience when I've been working hard on a project for a couple of hours I take about 30 minutes and play on the internet (forums, email, news sites). It refreshes my mind. I don't see why coaches wouldn't do the same thing.

You're right. I knew that too, no idea why I wrote Dr. Witt. Can I claim temporary insanity? :eek2: Wow I feel dumb.
