Dirty Dishes

I was helping cleaning up the kitchen after all of the cooking done just today and I was thinking about all of the dirty pots, pans and plates more than will fit into the dishwasher in a single wash. I was thinking how blessed I was to have all of the dirty dishes to wash when there are people in the USA who will not get enough to eat much less those in a third world country. It’s been a long time since I have been hungry really hungry if ever.
Remember to give thanks to the Lord for all you have and do more than pray for those who are hungry. Donate some money to your churches food bank. If you don’t attend church donate to the Salvation Army. Do what you can to make a difference for those less fortunate.
God will bless you when you bless others.

Excellent point.

Many of spend time worrying about some athletic contest or another, never ginving a moment's thought as we are trying to mix up a batch of "BAMA Bombs" (aka Fireballs) and other assorted drinks and so on.

We worry about whether we will make a good impression at this Holiday party or that one, whether our children are properly behaving, and whether this that or some other thing is right.

We get down right ****ed when our internet connections fail, or some rude associate makes a comment that is in bad taste.

Meanwhile, people are starving, in our own cities, towns, and counties. Much more so in other countries.

Thank you for the reality check. Everyone on this board has much to be thankful for.
