FOX rules! I get so much more information from FOX than I do from CNN. It never ceases to amaze me how much CNN covers for liberals. The reason CNN (and the networks) are getting their heads handed to them in the ratings is that normal people are tired of liberal spin and half truths. CNN et al. remind me of Pravda from the Soviet Union. Half truths and outright lies. Anything I hear on CNN, I assume it's a lie and believe the exact opposite.

I think that they (the various media outlets) truly believe that they are presenting the news in a way that their markets want it presented. I do not think that there is a subversive intent (to influence/brainwash the masses of young or uneducated viewers) - but I have been wrong before...
If that were an expressed or planned intent, and it was proven, the network would be driven off of the air.

Everyone is biased to an extent but an effort should be made by the media to present news as objectively as possible. There used to be code among journalists to do just that. Now, if they are not left leaning, the odds of getting a job are slim.
If they want to present news the way they think their market wants it, fine. When their market turns them off and switches to Fox they should not complain.

Sadly, not enough people are turning the news off. I have not watched network news (other than in times of crisis) in many years. I prefer to get me news from the internet...

It is neither fair nor balanced.
The overwhelming number of their correspondents are conservative.
Their two big front men, Sean Hannity and Bill O'Reilly are seriously conservative.
The main sop to the left is Combs, who is a self-described moderate, and who has apparently been conditioned to never cross Hannity.
On Crossfire, as moronic as the arguments usually were, at least the two sides challenged one another.

There is not another news source on TV that is any more fair or balanced than Fox. If I'm going to watch something that's biased I'm going to watch something biased to the right.
Hannity AND Combs, I believe is only on once a day for an hour, and they do have Liberal guests on their show. I think Hannity spends too much time on things that really don't matter but it gets them ratings. He's a talk show host not a reporter.
Every other news network has their Liberal slanted shows, so what if Fox has a couple that go the other way?
O'Reilly, at least on the radio, is normally very level headed, serious, and objective. He is very hard to argue with because he is much less emotional than Hannity and Limbaugh. Conservatives often disagree with him, but it's usually because he is not getting as worked up over something insignificant as they would like him to.
Sure, compared to the others, it IS a conservative network.

I was wondering about that. I didn't know how to spell it and didn't care enough to look it up. Funny how people forget about him being part of the show
and only complain about Hannity.
