Does anyone know the status of Rolando McClain?

RM was one of my all time favorite Bama players. I am just curious what progress he has made in turning himself around.

No links, just general reading on positives. After leaving the Ravens, Rolondo took care of his problems in Decatur, enrolled back at UA and stayed in contact with Coach Saban. As far as the future, I hope that he gives the NFL another shot and expect him to. The ravens have 1st rights, then he can sign with anyone next year if he decides to do that. Rolondo is still young and not far removed from playing so I hope that he ends up a Raven next year, but I have not read anything on his future, this is just what I hope. Rolondo became a favorite of mine during his freshman year vs Auburn, the more it looked like we were going to lose, the harder he played.

I think he said he would try again for the NFL next year. I'd imagine the Ravens still own the rights to him?
