I knew I wasn't crazy. I thought I had heard that too. Maybe ESPN was hoping he would change his mind?

I'm going to miss old Lou. He caught a lot of flack because of his homerism, but he was a true showman with an unmatched passion and knowledge for the game. He was an annoying old codger, but he is a legend at everything he's done. Halftime won't be the same without him.

Lou had a certain humorous showmanship but I won't miss him. I did not hate him but I grew weary of his constant faking some indignation . Showmanship at its finest.

I thought he was funny when he wasn't "outraged" at something. He and May were pretty funny together. I'd much rather Holtz return than someone like Kannell who is just a pot stirrer for the sake/ ratings of it.
