Some of y'all talking like Dyer isn't really, really good are crazy. Dude's not TR (or even EL) good, but few are. I'd love to have him in Crimson, and he'd be a star at a school with a real offense.
He'd be crazy not to come back. He has to stay in school one more year before he can go pro and if he transfers he'll have to sit out a year before he plays.

This talk originally started in a blog by Jay G. Tate, an AU blogger. This isn't some rumor started on Bama boards.
Read that today. Man, is he letting Chizik have it or what?Jay G. is one of the biggest Barn homers there is...and he ain't happy.

Well, assuming the character was there.I think you went a little overboard here. He's good like you say, but I would not want Michael frickin' Dyer at Bama. Ever. That's just my opinion, of course.
Look at the entire paragraph."Cheezwhiz one of the safest coaches in America"????? Has this clown read the roster of SEC West coaches; Saban, Miles, Petrino.
The gamble, of course, is that a national championship will buy Chizik enough time for his long-range plan to blossom. He's the among the safest coaches in America right now, but will a below-average season in 2012 spawn a movement to move him?

We normally don't do rumor threads here, but since it's regarding the barn, let's run with it...
This haha. Gus can't do something as boring as pounding with a good running back. He has to prove he is good without Cam Newton. I can't even imagine how embarrassed Dyer, or Gus, is after Kristi's interview.
Can anyone explain the "theory" behind this rumor. All Ive seen so far is that it is a rumor started on an Auburn message board.
Dyer leaving? I don't see it. Auburn's OL will have another year's experience next year; they should be better. The Dyer-McCallebb combination is potent now against most defenses and will be better in 2012. I'm glad the current coaches didn't rely on them more.
