Experience means a lot in the CFP. Excluding the first year only 1 team has won a championship in their first playoff appearance and that was the 2019 LSU team.

Penix is off tonight (somewhat due to the Michigan D), I don't think he has hit anyone in stride.

Michigan D line won both games. They kept Milroe down early and sacked him a bunch then tonight not lot of sacks but they had pressure all game on Penix and he was throwing everything off his back foot and not stepping into his throws. The best way to control a team is getting pressure up the middle. Washington didn’t play their normal game and that may have been because of injury to their running back but they are a run team that sets up the pass. Dropping back every player is not something you can do against Michigan.

This Michigan Defense is good. They have made every qb they have faced look bad. I didn't think it would happen to this qb. Very disciplined defense.

So looking back we were a quarter inch away from winning National title. Lawson gets just little more of his finger on that ball on drive in fourth quarter that he tipped and it goes over receivers head for easy Malachi Moore pick we hold on beat Michigan and win tonight imo.

Yep. It is weird how a team that has been accused of cheating and stealing signals has made every QB they faced look bad. Surely it is just a coincidence?

Any team in the CFP still using the same signals from the sideline deserves to get beaten.

The most probable reality is that yes, UM cheated, and yes, their defense (in particular) is legit.

To be fair, I haven’t watched UW much. Then again, they play in the now defunct PAC, sooooo..

I watched them all season and this is exactly who I thought they were, unfortunately.

This one feels like we were always waiting to finally pay for a bad spring camp and a crazy offseason. We almost got there but almost only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades.

I hope this wasn’t Saban’s last great shot at winning a NC. Next year will be even harder to win it than ever. We are fully capable of doing it but winning championships is hard enough winning just 2 games. Now potentially 3 games makes it even more difficult. We have alot of questions heading into Spring training and we have a very difficult schedule. I trust Saban but these past two seasons we probably should have won 1 of them with the talent we had.
